It is
my pleasure that Donna Lee Parsons gave me a permission to share her
personal message to you and to our transgender communities who has
lost their self esteem, confident or from the illness. When you finish
reading the following messages, you will notice that you are not
alone, you will discover that you have so many friends around you
who care and willing to help you, as they are able to be. Here
I would like to describe her personal life as I met it for three
weeks.

Donna
Lee Parsons has diagnosed with cancer her cancer has returned as an
inter-muscular tumor near the base of incision from the previous colon
SX. Her psycisian has suggested the best and only time she would be
viable and candidate for SRS would be as soon as possible after these
radiation treatments end and to allow enough post operative healing
time. So that she may be able to begin the prophylactic chemo therapy
that is likely to continue for the duration of her life expectancy.

Donna
has dreamed of completing her transition to female for many years
and it has only been in recent years that she has been able to do
anything about it. She has been on HRT since January 2002 and has
been living full time as a woman since July of 2001. She is an artist,
musician and performing artist. She has been the official Charlie
Chaplin impersonator to the Charlie Chaplin estate and has worked
closely with Chaplin family for over 15 years. Recently, she began
a musical career. Donna knows that she has not many years left in
her life. But she has lived a varied and exciting life. This dream
of completing her SRS is the strongest desire to live at this time.

Thanks
for your inquiry. Unfortunately, Dr. Suporn finds your case
too difficult to undertake for SRS. For most American patients
who have been circumcised as infants, it takes him about
7 to 8 hours for Type A SRS. This is especially risky under
the circumstances of your case.
We
could recommend that you contact the excellent Dr. Preecha
in Bangkok (http://www.pai.co.th) who can perform SRS in
about 2 to 3 hours. This would be much safer for your recovery
and freedom from potentially life-threatening postoperative
complications. |

On July 7, we met Donna at Preecha Aesthetic Institute. She was so happy
but little tired for long flight to Bangkok. Dr.Preecha and his
nurses had done all check-up for Donna. In the afternoon, She was back
to her room to take a rest for the operation on the next day.
Donna was
with us for about 20 days. The operation was completely successful.
She was so happy here visited our clinic and hospital in Bangkok.
Sometime, when she had no pain,she used to
play guitar, singing, and dancing around the nurse counter. When Donna left Bangkok to
Switzerland, the nurses at 4th floor missed her very much. I had a chanced to meet Donna,
she told me that she will continue her life and fight back
from illness. She also told me that she would come back to Thailand
and may continue to stay in Thailand for the rest of her life.
The
photos below were taken four hours before her leaving from PREECHA AESTHETIC
INSTITUTE at BNH hospital. We promise we will keep in touch with her
forever.

Thank
you so much ..yes, I arrived safely and have been very sleepy...
All is going welll, and my trip home was pleasant.. I am
still very weak and have to get back to bed... I tried to
call earlier but the line was busy.. I will take a short
sleep and call later...
I
have not had any pain since last night on the plane and
I took one morphine pill... I have not had any since and
have begun dialating again this morning...
I
am going to the hospital here this afternoon and they will
also check my wound to see how things are healing
All
in all, I feel great, just very sleepy and weak... I had
a pretty good meal on the flight and that was really the
first time I was able to eat without causing me discomfort...
I
really appreciate everything you did for me... You made
me into a very happy girl...
