- Hotel reservation upon request.
- For addtional stay prior you are here in Bangkok, you may stay before and after surgery
at our hospital private room. The addtinal night is US$ 70per night exclude meal. Most
patients prefer to have meals across the hospital or there's room service to make an order. PAI can arrange the hotel for you at the special rate as well.
- Free tourist information, travel planning and transfer to local travel agent (your optional)
- We would like to make our patients more comfortable and safety at the beginning of
surgery trip.
- We can arrange the transportation to pick up at the airport and assist our patients to
the hospital or hospital hotel room including check-in&out. The cost for transportation
(airport pick up) is US$40 round trips. We will collect with the cost of surgery and

Dr. Preecha started SRS or GRS in 1978 about 25 years ago, all the SRS surgeons in Thailand were trained by him. Now he had done about 3,300 cases of Male to Female SRS, 280 cases of Female to Male, 321 cases of sigmoid- color vaginoplasty and many thousands of aesthetic surgery in Male Transexuals.
The operation cost also included 5 days free of charge in hospital after surgery, doctor fees, anesthesia fees, medical treatments and pre and post-op cares. The additional night if you are an international patient and would like to stay in the hospital hotel room, the extra night is US$25 per night exclude meal. However, you may call room services or there're many fine resturants across the hosptial.
This cost is not including the medical supplied after the surgery. The time frame interval for each stage is about 3-6 months interval.

Criteria of Approval |
|

|
- Patient must be at least age 18 years of age. Patients will require permission from parents if under 20 years old.
- Patients must be diagnosed with at least one of the following disorders:gender identity disorder, gender dysphoria, or associated conditions.
- Patients must have undergone at least one year of antiandrogens or/and female hormones.
- Patients are required to have lived full-time in the cross-gender role for at least 1 year (supported by Identification Documents).
- Patients must have approval from a psychiatrist (MD), psychiatric social worker (PhD), or clinical psychologist (PhD).

This type of surgery consists of 4th stages operation as follow:
1st stage: is the removal of uterus, ovary, prepare the urethra skin abdominal tube and removal the Breast or reconstruction. Required 7-9 days in Bangkok after surgery.
2nd stage: Penile reconstruction from the abdominal skin required 1 night hospitalization and 10 days recovery in the Bangkok.
3rd stage: (after 6 months) to connect the urethra and silicone testicles. 1 night in hospital. 7 days in Bangkok.
4th stage: (after 3 months) inserting the silicone penis to make it hard and sculpture the gland penis plus minor corrections. One night in hopsital. 7 days in Bangkok

After Care |

Before being discharged from the hospital to your hotel the nurse will teach you how to take care of you and prescribe some more medications. The stiches will be removed after 7- 10 days. And you will be able to return home. |

Preparation before operation |
|
| |
|
Dr. Preecha follows the HBIGDA criteria, you should have
1). One letter recommend the S.R.S. from; either i. Therapist ii. Psychiatrist iii. Endocrinologist or General Practitioner
2). Discontinue hormone treatment at least 14 days prior to surgery. Hormones should be halted to reduce the risk of thrombosis (blood clots). Oral tablets should be halted two weeks prior to surgery and injectables should be halted four weeks prior to surgery. Oral antiandrogens can be halted three days before surgery (four weeks if injectables).
3). Have your private doctor performed preoperative physical check up within three months prior to SRS. Patients must also be confirmed by a private physician to be free from serious medical diseases and must pass the following blood tests:
- CBC, HIV Electrolytes, FBS, Creatinine Urinalysis
- Alkaline Phosphatase, Chest X-ray
- SGOT LDH EKG
and e-mail the results.
4) Reduced smoking, No aspirin and ibuprofen (Advil etc.) and Vit. E.
5) G.R.S. date; should send the Fax, email. For appointment one month prior to surgery date and itinerary.
6) HIV + can be done but will cost $1500 extra due to the necessity of using disposable instrument.

4) original signed (hard-copy) documents of claimed diagnoses or referrals. We will collect your hard documents during consultation.
5) Once the applicant has been approved for FtM Surgery, the patient can then make the flight arrangement.
